I stayed in the Somadevi Angkor Hotel in the center of Siem Reap for three nights. It was an excellent experience staying there, and the location could not be better. The weather was hot, so we spent quality time in their beautiful pool and a poolside bar with outstanding service. The fitness center was okay but could be better.
The rooms were very clean and spacious, with all the necessary amenities so was the bathroom. Rooms have hardwood floors and a private balcony, and the bathroom is fitted with a bathtub and a separate shower. Excellent service, and the hotel staff were very friendly, and most speak English. We enjoyed live music every evening in the lobby area.
Breakfast was included with my reservation, a great breakfast with various items to choose from and plenty of food. I found the hotel was reasonably priced compared to the quality services they provide. Hotle’s café offers Khmer, Asian and European dishes.
Hotel Somadevi Angkor Resort & Spa is just 10 minute drive from the world-famous Angkor Wat Temple and a 5-minute walk from the famous Pub Street. Siem Reap International Airport is only 15 minutes away. It takes 5 minutes on foot to the Night Market and various dining and shopping options.
