We stayed at InterContinental Hotel, Budapest Hungary for two nights, and we loved it. Both UNESCO world heritage sites are located in one of the most prestigious areas of Hungary’s capital – besides the landmark Chain Bridge along the charming Danube Promenade. The hotel boasts one of the city’s most sought-after locations with dazzling views over the Royal Palace and the magnificent Budapest riverscape.
The rooms were large with huge glass windows with a stunning view and had all the amenities, including outlets for charging our phones and robes and slippers for lounging in the room. In addition, the staff in the hotel and restaurant is professional, polite, and helpful.
Public transportation like Tram, Metro, and Bus is right there. Shopping centers like Vorosmarty Square were only two blocks away. The Váci shopping street, the Central Market Hall, and the Gellért Baths are also nearby.
The elegantly furnished suites and rooms at the InterContinental feature sleek interior design. Some offer stunning views of the river and the castle. In addition, guests can savor Lebanese dishes or modern fusion dishes at the on-site restaurant.
Overall InterContinental Hotel is an excellent hotel in the heart of the city with great views of the Danube, the Royal Palace on Castle Hill, and the Chain Bridge.
