The Welcome Inn is located in Kloten, 0.6 mi from Zurich Airport. It offers free WiFi and free parking for guests during their stay. I stayed at Hotel Welcome Inn for just one night. I missed my flight from Zurich Airport to Prague, so I needed a hotel that was near the airport and provided free airport shuttle service. The train ticket agent at Zurich airport recommended this hotel, and I quickly booked it for 160.00 CHF. I was picked up from the airport, and within 10 minutes, I arrived at Hotel Welcome Inn. The booking also included breakfast.
Comfortable Stay
The rooms at the hotel were very clean and appeared to be recently built. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and clean. I had no issues staying connected as my room had Wi-Fi service. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and decided that if I visit Zurich again in the future, I will definitely choose to stay there. It’s away from the busy crowd and helps minimize the hotel expenses.
Evening Activities
After checking in and freshening up, following a long day of driving from Vaduz to Zurich airport and dealing with the stress of rescheduling my trip from Zurich to Prague and then from Prague to Budapest due to my mistake of missing the flight, I decided to explore the area around the hotel. The town is called Kloten and is just a two-minute walk from Kloten Train Station. I purchased a bottle of wine and returned to the hotel. Many shops, bars, and restaurants are within walking distance. Kloten Train Station is 820 feet away, and the train ride to Zurich takes 15 minutes.
In the evening, I took a train to Zurich Hbf and had dinner at a Chinese restaurant in downtown. Since it was late at night and I wasn’t sure what to expect around Zurich Bahnhof, I didn’t bring my camera and couldn’t take any pictures of the food. After your hotel stay, you can leave your car in the Hotel’s car park at an additional cost until you return from your trip.
