Saqib one of my Travel buddy was also visiting Warsaw at the same time when I was there, so scheduled a meetup, He was staying at Radisson Blu Sobieski Hotel on Aleje Jerozolimskie. So grab my camera and backpack took the opportunity to walk all the way to his hotel which was about 25 minutes walk from my hotel but it took me about 90 minutes to get there as I kept on stopping on my way and altering my route to explore few interesting places and make few shots.
He invited me to this restaurant called Fresh Chili also on Aleje Jerozolimskie a Syrian/Lebanese Resturant. At first, I was hesitating to go there not expecting to have Syrian food while I am in Poland but then again it reminded me of having great experience having Chifa in Peru (Peruvian Chinese food) so decided to give it a try.
To tell you the truth it was a good decision, I really enjoyed the wonderful Syrian cuisine, prepared according to the authentic recipes using original aromatic Mediterranean spices.
The Aromatic Desert Tea mix with cardamom, cinnamon, the mint was remarkable. and also ordered Hommos Beirut (chickpeas paste on cold, Garlic, parsley, tomato and olive oil was also delicious. Price was a reasonable and great environment to have your lunch or dinner.
